Overview & acceptance

OneUnit is a content-creation platform that lets you build landing pages, generate AI content, capture leads, schedule and automatically publish social posts, and embed AI chat agents on third-party websites.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time. We will give you reasonable notice for material changes that affect paying users. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Your account

You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Keep your login credentials secure and notify us immediately at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By signing up, you confirm that the information you provided is accurate and that you have the authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of any business you represent.

Your content

You retain ownership of all content you upload, generate, or publish through OneUnit ("Your Content"). You grant OneUnit a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display Your Content solely as needed to operate the Service.

You are solely responsible for Your Content. You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to publish it, and that it does not infringe any third party's rights or violate any law.

Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Publish illegal, hateful, defamatory, harassing, or sexually explicit content, or any content involving minors;
• Send spam, phishing messages, or malware;
• Infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
• Misrepresent yourself or impersonate another person or business;
• Attempt to bypass security measures, scrape content at scale, or reverse-engineer the Service;
• Use the AI tools to generate content intended to deceive (e.g. fake reviews, or deepfakes of real people without consent).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice. You are responsible for ensuring that the content we generate and publish for you complies with all laws and platform rules applicable to your business and industry (including, where relevant, advertising, disclosure, healthcare, financial, and consumer-protection regulations).

Scope of service & no results guarantee

OneUnit's sole service is to create content and upload/publish it automatically to the social accounts you connect. That is the entirety of what we provide.

We publish daily content with the goal of helping you stay active and increase visibility, but results cannot be promised. Performance depends on many factors entirely outside our control — including your channel's history and audience, your industry/vertical, your account structure and standing, your business goals and offering, market conditions, seasonality, content topic and timing, and the algorithms, policies, and behaviour of third-party social platforms.

You acknowledge and agree that any examples, statistics, screenshots, case studies, or projections shown anywhere on our site or marketing are illustrative only, are not promises, and do not constitute a guarantee of any specific result. OneUnit makes no representation or warranty that the Service will increase traffic, leads, or revenue, or produce any particular outcome, and will not be liable for the absence of results.

Automated publishing & your approval

The Service can publish content automatically on your behalf according to the settings you choose. You control whether content is published only after your individual approval, or automatically on a schedule ("autopilot").

By enabling automatic publishing, you authorize OneUnit to publish content to your connected accounts without further review by you, and you accept full responsibility for that content. You can change your approval settings, pause publishing, or disconnect any account at any time from your dashboard.

Social platforms & other third parties

When you connect a social platform (such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, or YouTube), you authorize OneUnit to access that account through the platform's official API solely to publish content and retrieve performance metrics, subject to your settings.

These platforms are independent third parties that we do not own or control. OneUnit is not responsible for their availability, API changes, rate limits, content moderation, account suspensions or bans, reach throttling, policy changes, data accuracy, or any action or inaction they take with respect to your account or content. Your use of each platform is also governed by that platform's own terms and policies, which you are responsible for following. We are likewise not responsible for outages, errors, or changes in other third-party services (including AI model providers, hosting, and analytics providers) on which the Service relies.

Billing, renewals & refunds

Paid plans renew automatically on the same day each month or year until you cancel. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then.

Refund policy: we offer a refund within 24 hours of the original payment, no questions asked. After 24 hours, fees are non-refundable. Token packs and pay-as-you-go credits are non-refundable once any portion has been used.

Stripe processes all payments; we do not store your card number. Fees are charged for access to the Service (content creation and automated publishing) regardless of the results or performance of the content published.

Intellectual property

OneUnit, the "OneUnit" name, logo, and all related branding are owned by OneUnit AI. You may not use them without prior written permission, except to reference your use of the Service in good faith. The free plan displays a "Powered by OneUnit" badge; paid plans can remove it.

We do not claim ownership of the AI output you generate, but we cannot guarantee it is free from third-party rights, as described in Section 5.

Disclaimers — the Service is provided "as is"

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties — express or implied — about the reliability, accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of the Service or any content generated through it.

We are not responsible for any content uploaded, generated, or published by users of the Service. Each landing page hosted on OneUnit (or embedded via /embed/v1/chat.js) reflects the page owner's content, not ours.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OneUnit, its owners, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, business, traffic, leads, or anticipated savings — whether incurred directly or indirectly — arising out of or relating to the Service, AI-generated content, automated publishing, or the performance (or non-performance) of any content, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case our liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless OneUnit and its owners, employees, and suppliers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) Your Content and any content created, approved, scheduled, or published from your account (including AI-generated content and content published on autopilot); (b) your use of the Service; (c) your violation of these Terms or any law; or (d) your violation of any third party's rights or any social platform's terms.

Termination

You can close your account at any time from your dashboard. We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. On termination, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (tax records, abuse investigations, etc.).

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and/or by posting a notice in the dashboard. Continued use of the Service after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
